In the meantime,I didn't want to slow down my momentum so I'm posting a painting I made of my dear BFF and soul sister Selasie a while ago. It doesn't really look like her, but I'm a work in progress! And a friend of mine said I had captured the 'essence' of her and that we should leave realism to photography. Hmmm.
I'll get it right someday, in the meantime, I'm very proud of my painting, even though I messed up a little, I overworked the paper and ended up having to patch her nose. Ouch! Sorry my sister!
